Hello, my name is Kendall, and I bring over ten years of player experience to the Blue Banner coaching staff. Growing up, I was immersed in sports—eagerly watching my sister compete and waiting for my own turn. I became a tri-athlete in elementary school, playing basketball, softball, and volleyball. But it was volleyball that captured my heart and became my passion.

My dedication to the sport led me to become a four-year varsity volleyball athlete in high school. After graduation, I continued my athletic career at the College of San Mateo, where I played one season as an Outside Hitter and Opposite.

Now in my third year of coaching, I’ve had the privilege of working with student-athletes at both the club and high school levels—currently serving as a coach at Castro Valley High School. Coaching has allowed me to channel my competitive drive and deep love for volleyball into helping the next generation of athletes grow and thrive.

In 2023, I graduated from the College of San Mateo with an Associate’s Degree in Business. I’m now pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies for Early Childhood Development at Cal State East Bay, with plans to earn a Master’s and become a behavior analyst. My time in the classroom and on the court has ignited a passion for teaching and supporting youth through both academic and athletic development.

Whether in the gym or in the classroom, I believe in the power of positive mentorship, discipline, and confidence-building. I’m committed to helping each student-athlete discover their voice, develop their skills, and build a lasting love for learning—and for the game.
