At Blue Banner Volleyball, we’re privileged to welcome Ariel Tang to our coaching roster—a powerhouse in the volleyball world whose dedication and competitive spirit are unmatched. Ariel’s volleyball journey began early and quickly took off with club play starting in middle school. Since then, she has made her mark as a dominant middle blocker and impactful opposite hitter.

While attending UC Davis, Ariel’s talent was recognized with a rare distinction—being featured on the university’s Wall of Fame for Intramural Volleyball for four consecutive years. Her post-collegiate playing career has been just as impressive, with standout performances in both grass and indoor tournaments. One of her proudest accomplishments includes a silver finish in the Women’s A’s division at the 2022 USAV Volleyball National Championship.

Ariel’s love for the game naturally evolved into a desire to teach. Her coaching journey began during high school when she started assisting with the boys’ volleyball team. Since then, she has mentored countless student-athletes and friends, sharing her knowledge and enthusiasm to grow the sport she loves.

Now at Blue Banner Volleyball, Ariel brings a unique mix of on-court excellence and off-court mentorship. As an assistant coach, she is committed to fostering a positive and challenging environment where athletes are encouraged to grow, compete, and thrive.
