Angie is a passionate and dedicated former professional athlete with a distinguished playing career at both the national and international levels. As a former member of the Venezuela National Team, she competed in prestigious tournaments including the Junior South American Championship, Junior World Championship, and Senior World Championship qualification.

In recognition of her athletic excellence and impact on the sport, Angie was inducted into the Columbia College Hall of Fame in 2018—a testament to her enduring contributions and elite level of play.

Today, Angie brings her deep expertise and commitment to the role of Assistant Coach at Blue Banner Volleyball Club, where she focuses on mentoring the next generation of athletes. Her approach blends high-level skill development and strategic game planning with a warm, motivating presence that inspires athletes to grow and compete with confidence.

Beyond Blue Banner, Angie is the co-owner of Inside Sports, where she helps lead operations and coaching strategy. Her focus includes strength, conditioning, and technical volleyball training, ensuring athletes are well-prepared both physically and mentally for the demands of the game.

Coach Angie’s philosophy centers on trust, discipline, and building positive environments where athletes can thrive on and off the court. She firmly believes that a genuine love for the game—combined with supportive, intentional coaching—can unlock an athlete’s full potential and lead to success in all areas of life.

Fluent in Spanish and conversant in English, Angie is uniquely positioned to support and connect with a diverse range of student-athletes and families throughout their volleyball journey.
