Abby Legaspi has been immersed in the game of volleyball since the age of 10, developing a deep understanding
of the sport through both high-level playing and coaching experiences. She competed in
four years of varsity volleyball in high school before continuing her collegiate career at the
College of San Mateo as a Libero/Defensive Specialist, while also competing in beach volleyball.

After transferring, Abby graduated from San José State University with a
Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, where she also served as
President of the SJSU Club Volleyball Team and competed as a
Setter. Her academic and leadership experiences shape a coaching approach rooted in
movement efficiency, athlete education, and intentional training design.

Abby brings years of club coaching experience with the 12–14 age group and currently
serves as the JV Head Coach and Strength & Conditioning Coach at
Archbishop Riordan High School. She is passionate about helping athletes translate
physical training into on-court performance and confidence, and is currently pursuing her
Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification.

Above all, Abby is committed to helping athletes grow beyond the game by building resilience,
confidence, and a strong mindset. She strives to support each athlete as they work toward their goals
and develop a lifelong passion for sport.
