Sofía Gómez is an 18-year-old Venezuelan student-athlete whose love for volleyball shines through in everything she does. Currently playing as an outside hitter and right-side for the College of San Mateo volleyball team, Sofía brings energy, determination, and a genuine passion for the game to every practice and match.

In her senior year at Henry M. Gunn High School, she proudly played on the varsity team, honing her skills and embracing every challenge the sport offered. She further enriched her experience by competing in the 18s season with a Bay Area club, pushing her limits and deepening her connection to the sport.

Over the summer, she shared her love for the game as an assistant coach at another Bay Area volleyball club, inspiring younger players with her enthusiasm and dedication. Her journey reflects a true passion for the game and a desire to continue growing while sharing her love for volleyball with others.
