Harry Gomez is a highly experienced volleyball coach and former professional player with over 20 years of experience at the highest levels of the sport. Known for his deep understanding of the technical, tactical, and psychological aspects of volleyball, Harry is committed to empowering athletes through tailored coaching methods that enhance their skills, teamwork, and performance.

Harry’s playing career is marked by exceptional achievements, including representing Venezuela in the 2008 Beijing Olympics and being named the best player in the world twice in youth categories. He won a gold medal and the title of Best Player of the Continent at the 2003 Pan American Games. His professional career spanned several countries, including Greece, Turkey, Japan, Lebanon, and the UAE, where he earned over 15 professional titles.

Transitioning to coaching, Harry currently serves as the Head Coach at Blue Banner Volleyball Club and co-owns Inside Sports. He has also coached at Menlo-Atherton High School and previously contributed to the Greek National League Championship with PAOK Thessaloniki Volleyball Club. His coaching philosophy focuses on discipline, trust, and creating a positive environment for athletes to thrive, with a strong emphasis on the tactical and strategic aspects of the game.

Harry holds an MBA in Sports Management and Sports Executive Coaching, along with certifications as an International Volleyball Coach (FIVB Level II) and ISSA Certified Personal Trainer. Fluent in Spanish and possessing advanced skills in English, Italian, Portuguese, and Greek, he is adept at building connections with athletes and fostering a culture of growth and success.
